| The 2005 Pacific International Auto Show at BC Place was a great place to go for a walk. I was fascinated by the picture in the Province of them uncovering the new Subaru sport wagon thing. The old guys at Chrysler were giving each other high fives to celebrate the news that the Valiant was no longer the ugliest car produced. I would have paid for them to cover it up!!! There was a lot of big display booths set up to display the newest and greatest. One has to fell sorry for Nissan. Although they had the biggest thing...and I mean huge...in the auto world with 350Z. The Intro of the Nissan 350Z left grown men crying and ladies swooning not to mention the effects it had on the adolescent male population as a whole. But they made the dammed thing so reasonably priced and so good that the world is so full of them it seems so common place to have one up on the display stand...but what are their options...the Pathfinder? Oh yeah that is what they had on display. GM had the new Supercharged Cadillac in attendance. The models that come with the Corvette mill with 400 horses now can come with a supercharged version packs a whopping 40 more ponies!!! The downturn in the economy forced GM to outsourcing the Superchargers and they found the cheapest way was to steal them off of the new Mini! |

| Subaru brought out the big expensive display. Maybe the guys that designed the display could get a shot at the next Subaru car design. At least when it is one a turntable part of the time the brute of a front end is going away from you!!! I am sure that I not the first to notice that the Subaru looks a bit like an Edsel upside down. |

| Cutting the right side away may have been a mistake...cut away the front of this car and you would get a better look at the engine compartment and frankly you would get a better looking car. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Ford had it's GT-40 on display and my Brother mused that any guy trying to restore a 63 Falcon could steal the GT-40's tailights for a perfect match. I have kids that watch all the shows on TV where Bikes are customized and I was surprised to see the super Hyped Lincoln Pickup did not even have a single eyeball on it while I was watching. |

| In most shots of cars, people blocking a clear view of the vehicle detract from the view of the vehicle. I am of the mind that the only way to enhance these Shipping containers on wheels is to take them off-road...and leave them there! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Honda had its new truck. Looks a bit chunky al a Hummer. But every one seems to Hummerfying their new products. Look for Toyota to out Hummer the Hummer and Even Hummer is throwing away the curve tools and English wheels in favour of adding wheels to cut up Ocean going shipping containers.![]() |

| Would you buy a used car from this man? The Purple Jacket so clashed with the yellow Lambos and the Red Ferraris. I am so in love with these exotics. There is no finer example of wicked far out cars on the road today...did you say the new M5 has 500 horsepower and picnic tables in the back seat? Arrivederci, An Diamo! | The Mopar boys certainly had lots to show and My boys sure loved them. The Viper powered truck was pretty cool but I still like the graphics of the "Rumble Bee" much better. The Daytona named truck was a bit too Poseur for me . | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
